Calum Robertson
is studying clarinet at The RSAMD in Glasgow with John Cushing (principal RSNO). He previously studied with Lewis Morrison in Edinburgh (former principal SCO). He has played with the Scottish Youth Orchestras and is a member of The Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra based in London. He plays with The Acentejo clarinet quartet and Stevensons Ensemble based in Glasgow. January this year he performed the Nielsen clarinet concerto with The BBC SSO and was recently interviewed for radio 3 with a performance of Macmillans From Galloway.John Bryden
studied piano with Mary Moore and gave his first BBC broadcast recital at the age of fourteen. He was awarded the Greenwood Music Exhibition to Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He has continued piano studies with Peter Katin, Guido Agosti and Claudio Arrau in Siena and Bonn. He has also valued greatly the advice of Sir Clifford Curzon and Hans Keller. As soloist, chamber musician and accompanist he has given concerts all over Britain as well as in France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, and Nepal. He combines this with leading ACE Music Study Tours to European capitals and music festivals and has given piano recitals in the homes of Chopin, Haydn, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Liszt and Grieg.Music for a Summer Afternoon
